GMA Artist Center congratulates Derrick Monasterio, Charee Pineda and Kristoffer Martin for being cited as young Filipino achievers at the recently concluded Golden Globe Annual Awards for Business Excellence 2013 held at the Manila Hotel last September 28. Monasterio, Pineda and Martin were honoured for their outstanding and significant achievements in the field of Arts and Entertainment. Derrick Monasterio, who is also a National Youth Commission (NYC) Ambassador, feels very happy to be recognized. He also advised the youth to continue in striving hard and enrich their talents that God gave them and be a role model to others. “I feel so honored and blessed because it’s not everyday that one receives an award.

I can inspire them by simply doing my best at every opportunity to showcase my talent. In that way, the youth will be inspired and eventually would want to be like you”, he adds. Kahit Nasaan Ka Man leading man Kristoffer Martin shares that receiving such recognition made him strive to do more good and serve as an inspiration to the people who look up to him.

“I’m thankful! Syempre una kay Lord at thank you sa Golden Globe for acknowledging us sa field namin which is Arts and Entertainment. It will serve as an inspiration to me to do more and to push myself even harder.” Akin Pa Rin ang Bukas star and public servant Charee Pineda is thankful for the award she received. “The award came just in time. My political career is in peak, then ito naman sa akin showbiz career, another highlight. Magandang welcome sa muling pagbabalik ko bilang Kapuso.” With all the recognitions, it only shows that GMA Artist Center stars are honed to do their best not only in their chosen field but also to be an inspiration to the Filipino youth. -

Kristoffer Martin will not stop discovering ways to improve his acting skills

Sa nalalapit na pagtatapos ng GMA-7 afternoon soap na Kakambal Ni Eliana, hindi maiwasan ng cast members na malungkot sa last taping day ng serye na ginawa sa Subic.

Nakapanayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) ang isa sa leading men ng serye na si Kristoffer Martin—via direct messaging ng Twitter ngayong araw, August 2—at sinabi niyang marami siyang mami-miss sa show, lalo na ang magandang samahan nila.

Saad ng young actor, “Sobrang okay kaming lahat sa set ng show—walang intriga, lahat nagkakasundo, lahat nagbibigayan.

“Sabi nga nila, ang babait naming lahat sa show.

“Kahit nga raw yung mga kontrabida ng show namin na sina Tita Shey [Sherilyn Reyes-Tan] at Lexi [Fernandez], masaya silang kasama kapag nagkukuwentuhan kami.

“Wala raw nabalitang may nag-aaway sa amin, very pleasant nga raw parati ang taping namin.

“Lahat kami kasi, magkakaibigan at maganda ang bonding namin, kaya walang problema tuwing taping namin.

“Very thankful nga ako na nagkaroon ako ng chance to work with the likes of Mr. Jomari Yllana, Ms. Jean Garcia, Ms. Eva Darren, Mr. Ernie Garcia, Mr. Rez Cortez, at Mr. Leo Martinez.

“Mararamdaman mo talaga yung word na ‘family’ doon sa set namin.

Sina Kristoffer at Kathryn ang gumanap bilang mga batang Johnny (Dingdong Dantes) at Jenny (Marian Rivera) sa primetime series ng GMA-7 na Endless Love Parehong galing sa ABS-CBN at Star Magic ang dalawang teen stars. Kasama ni Kristoffer sa cast ng "Tween Hearts" ang kapwa niya Tween Stars ng GMA-7 sa pangunguna nina Barbie Forteza at Joshua Dionisio.
